Father's Day tribute

A father is an irreplaceable figure in every little girl’s life.  He usually assumes the role of hero, friend, role model, and her favorite man in the world. Over the years, we have had the opportunity to meet many wonderful fathers as they have helped play a special role in their daughter’s big day.

Mustang Engineering Chili/BBQ Cook Off

Team building is an important factor in any environment, its focus is to specialize in bringing out the best in a team to ensure self development, positive communication, leadership skills and the ability to work closely together as a team to problem solve.   Team building can be seen in many forms and refers to a wide range of activities.  I am thrilled to have a client whose company recognizes team building programs are essential to companies moral and support.   Team building events are by no means an easy task, especially when you have to execute over 120 of them for varies departments.  There are many people behind the scenes who spend many sleepless nights to come up with a new creative idea and execute them with great ease.  The Mustang Engineering Chili/BBQ Cook Off is a program that has been around for many years and and brings the entire corporation together for one huge team building extravganza.  The annual show down of who will reign supreme in the slow simmering of great seasonings and spices!  Not only is the direction to cook and grill your heart out, but to truly get involved and decorate your booth.  From skits to costumes, do not hold back.  This year was no exception.

Rachel + Mike

We have all heard the cliche of the world being a small place.  Indeed it is and it is a wonderful thing when the worlds come back together after many, many years have past.  The back story starts from my Hard Rock days where Sarah + Bobby, brother and sister of the bride Rachel worked for me. Then,  Mr. Mills, father of bride, aka Santa Claus was the honorary guest when I hosted a Breakfast with Santa event for about 7 years.  We all bumped into each other at a bridal show and the rest, as they say, is history.  It was such an honor to see the family together again and to enjoy the celebration of love.

Featured in Catering Magazine

Carol and Mike's wedding was recently recognized at the NACE National Conference and Enjoy Events received the award for 2010 Best Wedding Event of the Year for a budget of $25k-$75k.  It was such an honor.  Catering Magazine, a national publication featured the story in their recent edition.  This is the second time this fabulous wedding has been featured to share their story with others.  Extraordinary.

While we are honored for this award, it takes a team of great vendors to make amazing memories.  I would like to thank More Than Cakes, who's amazing master piece made the front cover, Impressive Events, Darryl & Co., House of Blues Houston, Flowers by Nino, Acoustic Production, The Salvation Army Harbor Light Choir, Laura Corley Burlton of D.Jones Photography.  And, of course Mike and Carol for having a really cool vision and the playground to create such a production.  It rocked!  Have I mentioned, I love that butterfly escort wall?
