Hilcorp Energy Celebrates

When Hilcorp Energy Company converted several separate software programs into a single, integrated data platform, it teamed with Enertia Software to do so. When the intense, year-long conversion project was completed, it was time for the two companies to celebrate the accomplishment. The Great Southwest Equestrian Center  was selected as the venue and we zeroed in on a refined modern country theme, Hilcorp ~ Enertia Stampede 2010.

The basis of the branding design started with invitation graphics by Brandit Bandits which then segued  into the directional signage and menus cards.  For a stroke of luck, a horseshoe design became the basis for the t-shirts and the paperweight gift given out as a token of appreciation.

The event kicked off on the grounds of the main horse arena where Darryl & Co provided a great backdrop of Texas decor combining hay bales, lounge seating, rustic split rail fencing, wagon wheels, market carts, and wooden barrels  The guests enjoyed tunes from Kelly McQuire via Impressive Events while enjoying old fashion kettle corn cotton candy and roasted corn, plus roasted nuts were served from strolling cowgirl tables provided by J&D Entertainment.  To quench your thirst in the heat, only Texas beers and classic Dr. Pepper bottles were found 'round these parts. Since Enertia is commonly misspelled by transposing the 'i' and 't', it only made sense to enjoy an Enerita Station with logo margarita glasses as gifts to all guests. To add some additional entertainment and keep our minds off the humidity, Burt the Trick Roper via Best Entertainers showed off his talent, Catch the Moment provided some hilarious picture moments, guests threw some horseshoes and washers, and everyone jumped in to find a free vacation days in the haystack.

At high noon, it was time to find the AC and relax with some good ol' lemonade and Texas sweet tea.   PRP Entertainment was ready to provide some quiet background music during lunch, but quickly read the crowd and turned it up because these folks were ready to boot, scoot and boogie.  Guess a few of those Eneritas hit the spot.   The upstairs event space overlooking the main horse arena was filled with natural sunlight providing a great backdrop to honor the guests.    With beautiful leather overlays, chocolate fitted chair covers, and mahogany chargers the foundation was complete to add the centerpieces of glitter black boots and tall oil derricks. And  a Texas theme would not be complete without the Yellow Rose.

The room was filled with the aroma of a Texas feast, served family style and provided by the culinary talent of City View Catering.  As an encore, old fashion S'mores were enjoyed.

Christine Tremoulet graciously braved the heat and captured the amazing moments which will be enjoyed for a lifetime.  Thank you for sharing your art.
